Do you use iSoft Appointments?
If so did you know you can display a message to specific patients which will replace the message directing a patient to the waiting area?
This is ideal if you need the patient to, for example, visit reception first to complete a form or collect some information.
To use this follow these instructions:
So for example you could type {Please come to reception desk, there is a form for you to collect.}
If the patient books in using the Touch Screen they will see the following message:
Thank you, Mr Patient. You have been booked in for your 16.20 appointment with Dr Doctor. Please come to reception, there is a form for you to collect.
Please note: any other text added next to the appointment that is not entered within { } brackets will not be displayed to the patient.

- In iSoft Appointments type some text within { } in the patient's text notes alongside their appointment
So for example you could type {Please come to reception desk, there is a form for you to collect.}
