Global Calendar
I know there is a schedule section within EnCompass but was wondering if there would ever be a global style calendar so that important dates that everyone needs to know could be added and then be seen... or is this available now?

Hi Chris, thanks for the suggestion. An improved global calendar is actually currently being developed. Can I please ask for your thoughts, we see this as a 'wall chart' where holidays and important events can be marked. Would you have any other requirements? Would you also be interested in a room booking facility? If so would you rather that this was a separate calendar or the same.

I think the 'Wall Chart' thing is kind of what we are after really. I don't think we'd use it as we don't often book out rooms but I would say just keep it in the same one rather than making it a separate one if you do add that feature.
Probably sounds silly but would any user be able to add to the calendar or would it be made specific to Basic and Advanced Admin. Such as the Advanced Admin granting other users the rights to add to the calendar so it doesn't get cluttered up with random information. Chris |
