Question Add a link to a document to a page?
Would you like to add a link to a document on your page?
For example, would you like to add a link to your travel questionnaire on your Travel Vaccination page?

Adding a link to a document is very similar to adding a link to another website.

Sign into your website management, go to Website Content Management and click to edit the page where you would like to insert a link to a document.

Type some text, for example: Click here to download our Travel Vaccination form.

Select the text (click and drag over the text) that you would like to turn into a link.
For example: the word here or all of the text Click here to download our Travel Vaccination form

Then click on the Insert/edit link icon [Image: e1aace54f23b9aef0dd7469aac2a4852-link.png] and an Insert/edit link pop up will open.

Now click on the Browse icon [Image: 29197a7dce0033ac4ac66968a93a8ba5-browse.png] to the right of the Link URL box.

Your Moxiecode Image Manager will open. This is where all your images and documents are kept. To add a document click on [Image: fa3d66d325717931b7b590bfa1952eb4-upload.png]. An Upload pop up will open then Browse your computer to find your document. You can upload pdf, doc and xls documents.

Click [Image: 0f05df2e6a024d552f84e7485b02d643-upload2.png] and your document will be added to the Moxiecode Image Manager list. Note: This list is in alphabetical order.

Find your document in the list and click on it. You will be taken back to the Insert/edit link pop up.
  • You can give your document a title if you would like.
  • If you would like your document to open in a new window (so your patients do not lose your website) you can change the Target to open in a new window (_blank).

Click [Image: 3cd49e3de359c218c6180ee514cc3f6c-insert.png] and your and the text will change to blue and underlined so your patients will know it is a link.

Click Save and then Publish your website.
